【Third Brain】 アートパンクバンドVOVIVAVのdj k.e.i.とumeoによる2020年9月始動の音楽プロジェクト。 ダンスミュージックからノイズやアンビエント、映像や舞台の音楽まで制作する。 2つのブレインによって生成されたトラックは、3番目のブレインになる。そしてトライアングル形状の頂点に配置される。 Super Dommuneでの初ライブ(2021年3月29日)は記憶に新しい。 2021年5月5日に初のEP(2曲入り)を自主レーベルから7inchレコード(下記Bandcampと各レコード店)とデジタル音源(下記Bandcampなど)を発売！ 90`s東京地下、00年代USオルタナ勢やOOIOOともリンクしながら、バンド/ファッション視点も注入されてるdj k.e.i.と、 アートプロジェクトやコンテンポラリーダンスのサウンドデザインなどを経由し再びクラブミュージックの制作熱が高まってきたumeo、そういった特徴のあるduo＝サードブレイン自身が影響されてきたもののブリコラージュ的2曲！ エスノ/ワールドスローな”Ushan”と進行系ゲットー・ベースの東京地下ミュータント”Lite Tek” ！ BPMは90と80/160で、いずれもダンスフロア対応のDJユースな楽曲。 7inchレコードにはデジタル音源のダウンロードコードとオリジナルステッカー特典付き！Third Brain is the music project founded in September 2020 by dj k.e.i., who is also a member of art-punk band VOVIVAV, and umeo, sound-designer/engineer. They produce dance music , noise, ambient, video and stage music. The track generated by the two brains becomes the third brain. That is placed at the apex of the triangle shape. The first live (March 29,2021) at Super Dommune is still fresh in our memory.Our first EP(2 tracks) was released in 7inch vinyl and digital format on May 5, 2021 from an independent label！ Dj k.e.i.has been interconnected with 90's Tokyo underground music scene , 00's US alternatives, also OOIOO, along with a band & fashion point of view. While umeo has been involved in art-projects and sound-design for contemporary dance performances, now find himself motivated to create dance/club-oriented music. They put their own influential elements into this “bricolage” EP. These two tracks are DJ-use  for dance floors. ”Ushan”(BPM90) is ethno/world-slow tune. ”Lite Tek” (BPM80/160) is progressive mutant of “ghetto bass” in Tokyo underground. Our 7inch record includes a download digital file code and an original sticker！
